WA TREEWORKS has the only Cone Head Log and Stump Splitter in Australia. It is capable of:-
Downsizing logs of any size to split pieces ready for grinding or chipping through a hand fed or whole tree chipper
Reducing oversized logs so they can be more easily processed into firewood or more manageable pieces for further processing by a smaller firewood processor so reducing wear and tear on firewood machinery
Alternatively, the Cone Head splitter can reduce stumps to more manageable sizes to enable more efficient loading when being removed from site.
Stump splitting ensures most soil and sand debris falls away from the product leaving a cleaner, lighter stump for disposal.
The Cone Splitter is much more efficient than a set of shears on these applications, being mounted on a 22 ton excavator. The additional grab makes stacking and/or sorting timber a quicker process.
